I created a publication titled, ‘A Woman’s Personal Revelations on Individuality.’ It is broken down into three large topics surrounding womanhood; sexuality, marriage, and motherhood. Each section explores the “ideal” role of a woman in these settings, and how that creates unfair pressures and stereotypes. With this project I wanted to relieve some of that pressure by validating every aspect of a woman. It is okay for a woman to choose to be a single mother or to choose not to have kids at all. The patriarchy created this box that not every woman can or should try to fit themselves into. The only person who should be telling a person what to do is the individual themselves.
